Le groupe sortira pour ses 12 ans d'existence (?) un quatrième album, "12 Years Of Mass Murders", le 21 mai chez Perish In Light Records. Au programme, des nouveaux morceaux ("Rare And Evil" notamment) et un ancien mini-CD produit par le groupe lui-même.
Le groupe voit également le retour du chanteur Der Henker, qui participera au cinquième album des Norvégiens, déjà prévu pour Noël. Un nouveau membre encore en la présence de Barren qui s'occupera des parties de grattes avec LHW.
Puisqu'on parle de LHW, celui-ci a signé un contrat avec Oak Knoll Records pour le premier album de son projet solo, L.H.Warmachine, qui s'intitulera "Shapeless Abyssal Void" et qui devrait sortir fin juin. Et comme LHW est un homme très occupé, Svartskogg, son side project a terminé l'enregistrement de son album "Helvete666" et n'a plus qu'à trouvé un label pour le distribuer. LHW n'est pas le seul à s'aventurer hors de Massemord, Der Henker vient en effet de créer son propre groupe et devrait sortir un split avec Krocht, groupe néerlandais de black-métal. Tout un programme! | | | » | ZARATHUSTRA (black metal allemand) a terminé son nouvel EP, "Contempt" au Necromorbust Studio en Suède. Ca sortira en mai chez Undercover Records en édition très très limitée. Tracklist:

Un reportage télé sur le concert des grindeux anglais est visionnable ici. | | | » | Un nouvel épisode de la guéguerre entre ROBB FLYNN et Kerry King. Après ses déclarations ironiques sur le guitariste de Slayer, Flynn semble jouer la réconciliation:
"Been listening to SLAYER's 'Seasons in the Abyss' a lot lately. don't really know why I went back to it... it's kinda hard to listen to in some ways... but, Jesus?! That record is just amazing. Absolutely fucking classic from start to finish. 'Seasons in the Abyss' is just about the ultimate metal album. Riffs, melodies, structures, energy... FUCK! What an accomplishment!
"After that began, I ended up digging through a bunch of stuff in my garage that I had to move, and I stumbled upon a shitload of memorabilia from those first two tours they [SLAYER] took us on. Flyers, posters, laminates, pictures... and it kinda bummed me out.

"From growing up as a teenager playing their songs at backyard kegger parties in Fremont... to watching them give the best live performance I have ever witnessed at the Henry J. Kaiser Center in Oakland... to having seen SLAYER live more times than any other band (before we toured together)... to them giving us the opportunity to tour with them for 5 ½ months, on 5 different continents... SLAYER has helped this band more than any other band out there, period. Kerry King, in particular, played a pivotal role in making that happen. It is something I will forever be grateful for, even if we never are friends again.
"So with that said, I am issuing an apology to Kerry for the role I've played in our ongoing 'feud.' To be honest, I can't even remember why it started. With every barb we trade, I feel like I'm losing a part of my youth, and with it, a part of who I used to be, before MACHINE HEAD came into existence.
"It's one of the strange ironies of the music business... that it would turn one of your idols, into one of your enemies.
"It really is a shame... sometimes the 'business' side of the music business has a tendency to suck the enjoyment out of the very thing you become a part of the music business for: music.
